While this is the 2012 model year, I bought this car new in February 2013 here in Salmon Arm, BC

This Chevy Cruze has the ECO trim, which includes 17" cast aluminum wheels.
I also have an extra 17" cast aluminum wheel - included free.

The main difference between the 2012 Chevrolet Cruze and the Cruze Eco lies in their focus on fuel efficiency. The Cruze Eco, with its 1.4L turbocharged engine, is designed for superior fuel economy, utilizing aerodynamic features like the rear trunk spoiler, a lighter weight, cast aluminum wheels, and low-rolling-resistance tires (original tires not available). The standard Cruze has a 1.8L engine and a wider range of features and trims, including options for different transmissions and trim levels.

This car features the 1.4L turbocharged inline-four engine, known for its fuel economy and surprising acceleration with 138 horses.

 

The Chevy Cruze ECO is specifically engineered for efficiency, with features like
electrically operated grille shutters <(click to watch video) and a tall sixth gear.

It achieves impressive fuel economy, with a 28 MPG city/42 MPG highway rating.

The Cruze Eco is exclusively available with a six-speed automatic/manual transmission, which contributes to its fuel economy by keeping engine revs low while providing turbocharged power to easily climb hills.

The Cruze Eco is designed to be lighter than the standard Cruze, so a few extras have been eliminated.

The Chevy Cruze vehicle can last up to 250,000 miles (402,336 km) with proper maintenance, with an expected annual drive of around 15,000 miles (24,140 km).
